According to the CDC, Georgia has the second-highest maternal mortality rate in the nation. According to data from the CDC, women in Georgia are twice as likely to die from pregnancy-related and pregnancy-associated causes. This data counts deaths throughout pregnancy and up to one year postpartum.

We at Atlanta Morning Center are here for you. Our medical team is a resource you can count on as we offer care for new and expectant moms from prenatal to one year after birth.

Educational Classes

We provide education to our clients throughout their pregnancy journey, including information on labor and delivery, birth plans, breastfeeding, postpartum health, and much more.

According to the Agency for Health Care Research and Quality

  • Breastfeeding confers a 38 percent reduction in the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), which is independent of the sleeping position of the infant.
  • When infants are breastfed exclusively for three to four months, they have a 27 percent decrease in the development of asthma, atopic dermatitis, and eczema.

We partner with, a telehealth solution for moms who need extra support. They offer virtual care with advice, counseling, and support from pregnancy to parenthood. Experienced maternal-child nurses, nurse practitioners, midwives, lactation consultants, and nutritionists are ready to help in any language.

Be Not Afraid

Be Not Afraid is a partner of ours who advocates for women who have had a negative pregnancy outlook (such as Down syndrome and other prenatal diagnoses). They offer bereavement support, practical guidance, information, and referrals so that parents understand what is normal, what is possible, and what might be helpful as they carry to term.
